About Darron Properties and The Founders

Darron Properties was incorporated and named after its founders and principal stock holders, Dan and Sharon (Turkington) Spurck using part of their fist names "Darron".                                                                                                                                                           

Native Missourians, Dan and Sharon, met while attending Lee's Summit High School. Dan was active in sports and Sharon's propularity included being voted homecoming queen and "Miss Lee's Summit." 

Dan and Sharon both attended William Jewell Colege where Dan graduated with a degree in economic. He entered the Navy in 1963, and became a Naval Special Warefare Officer and a member of the famous Navy Seals. Dan and Sharon were married in 1965 at the Naval Amphibious Base Chapel in Coronado, California.  Sharon attended San Diego State university graduating with a degree in Social Science.

Upon his release from active duty in 1969, Dan and Sharon settled in Imperial Beach, California, where they both began carees in real estate: Dan as a Real Estate Investment Broker and Sharon as a Certified Property Manager. The established Villa Investment Properties, the forerunner of Darron Properties, inc and now Darron & Associates dba/Darron Properties and Darron Property Management

Dan and Sharon found favorable conditions and plenty of opportunities to continue their real estate business in their home town and give their investors the advantage of property ownerhsip during the growth of Lee's Summit.   When Dan and Sharon Spurck moved from southern California to Missouri, Darron Properties became their most active business entity.
